Pilates at Banana Dance Studios focuses on six important principles: Concentration, Control, Precision, Centering, Alignment and Breath. By correcting posture and alignment accompanied by deep breathing we facilitate optimal function of internal organs. Abdominal exercises on the Pilates mats will importantly help strengthen our core which is essential to help avoid back injury in everyday movement.

Through slowly explained and performed exercises, our physical awareness will be heightened and helps release tension, therefore increasing the ability to elongate our muscles and develop flexibility.
